Inactive Users

From phpBB Development Wiki

There are different reasons why phpBB considers some people inactive in some way and restricts the board functionality available to them, how other members can interact with them and how their information is accessible.

It would generally be useful to be able to control these different groups of users with permissions. This may warrant the addition of more default user groups.

Reasons for Inactivity

  1. Registration pre-activation
  2. Profile change (e.g. e-mail address change) by user or an admin
  3. Admin deactivated
  4. Permanently Banned (considered different from "inactive")
  5. Temporarily Banned (considered different from "inactive")
